Some writing from Josh Kirby's website. Its why I like fantasy over science fiction too - I'm just not as talented enough at drawing to be able to achieve drawing and visually communicating it in the immense way that he can.
I have been quite inspired by Kirby's imagery and character design for the story of 'Equal Rites'.
